How we choose topics

We prioritize recurring questions, troubleshooting problems, confusing processes and emerging terms where a clearer answer would materially help the reader.

How we research

For product and app guides, we prefer direct product documentation and observed interfaces. For government or regulated processes, we prefer the responsible official agency or service as the primary source. We may use other reputable sources for context.

How we use AI

AI may assist research, outlining, editing and quality checks. It does not replace verification. We do not intentionally publish large volumes of near-duplicate pages or unverified generated instructions.

Freshness

Guides that depend on changing interfaces, codes, policies or processes can display an updated or verified date. A date is not a guarantee that nothing changed afterward, so readers can report changes through our corrections page.

Commercial independence

Advertising or future commercial relationships do not determine the factual conclusion of an editorial guide. Sponsored material, if introduced, will be clearly identified.
